ANNIE J. WEAVER, 100, EPHRATA RESIDENT
Annie J. Weaver, 100, of Fairmount Homes, Ephrata, formerly of Leola, died Saturday afternoon at the retirement home after a long illness.
Her husband, Irvin R. Weaver, died in 1996, also at age 100. When he died, they had been married 80 years.
Mrs. Weaver was a member of Evangelical United Methodist Church of New Holland.
She enjoyed playing the organ.
Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Ida Johe Whitezel.
Surviving are two sons, Clifford C., husband of Doris Dussinger Weaver, and Kenneth L., husband of Mary Ann Stadler Weaver, both of Brownstown; three daughters, Marguerite B., wife of Lavern Mumma of Talmage, Treva L., wife of Henry G. Good of Morrisdale, and Ethel M. Brandt of Manheim; 27 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandson.
A son, Irvin R. Jr., and a daughter, Lillian Lefever, preceded her in death.
