Notes:
Sarah A. Showalter, 83, formerly of 335 N. Prince St., died Monday morning at Saint Anne's Home in Columbia after a lengthy illness.
She was the wife of Christian R. Showalter, who died in 1972.
Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late James B. and Anna Mae Ames Mummaw.
A homemaker, she belonged to St. Stephen's Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a son, James B. Showalter of Lancaster; a stepson, Christian R. Showalter Jr. of Allentown; and two daughters, Anna Mae, wife of Harold E. McGallicher of Lancaster, and Elizabeth A., wife of Walter J. Deaver.
Also surviving are five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Clara Cristy of Lancaster; and a brother, Edward Mummaw of Conestoga.
