After Charles' untimely death and after the boys went to college, his wife Frances remarried John C. Carbaugh and moved to his farm in Franklin County, PA. She died in the Carbough farm home. She is buried with her first husband Charles in Green Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Fulton County, PA.
