Parents Harry B. McCarney and Vesper Bloom McCarney. Vesper's parents lived in Wayne Heights in Waynesboro, PA
Marguerite and Blaine met at a carnival in 1927 in Quincy, PA. Blaine saw Marguerite on a ferris-wheel and fell in love with her freckles. They had nine children, five girls and four boys. Sally was the forth child.
