Resident of Livermore, Archie Bob Light passed away Sept. 20, 2007 in Pleasanton.
Archie is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Helen Irene Light; children, Ronald Robert Light of Manteca, CA, and Linda Lee Light (Schutte) and husband Gary Schutte of Dixon, CA; grandchildren, Robert Light and wife, Patricia of Modesto, CA, Mark Light and wife, Clariss of Modesto, CA, Brian Schutte and wife, Rene of Dixon, CA, and Steve Schutte and wife, Stacy of Dixon, CA; great-grandchildren, Cassie, Kirstie and Jonathan Light of Modesto, CA, Kyle and Bryce Schutte of Dixon, CA, Arianna Wright of Modesto, CA; brother, Edward Light of Turlock, CA; and numerous extended family members.
Archie was a resident of Livermore for 64 years. He was a generous, humble, loving Christian man who served his Lord and exemplified Christ's love to his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Archie was a longtime member of Cedar Grove Community Church in Livermore. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Service will be held on Thurs., Sept. 27, 2007 at 12:30 p.m., Cedar Grove Community Church, 2021 College Ave., Livermore, CA 94550. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Cedargrove Community Church. Callaghan Mortuary (925) 447-2942.
