Richard Cullen Moomau, 38, of Oakland, Md. and formerly of Petersburg, died Oct. 10, as a result of a farming accident in Garrett County, Md.
Born April 8, 1962, in Petersburg, he was the son of Henry F. Moomau of Oakland and Betty (Carr) Moomau of Petersburg.
He was the brother of Robert and Sarah (Moomau) Spanswick and Eric and Jaime Moomau, of Petersburg, Jim and Peggy (Moomau) Lascaris, Don and Amy (Moomau) Nemith and Katelin Moomau, of Oakland, John and Sue Moomau-Foundas of Sterling, Va. and Adam Moomau of Fort Collins, Colo. He is also survived by his fianc?, Melody Calderon.
Funeral services were Oct. 14, at the Petersburg Presbyterian Church, with interment in Maple Hill Cemetery, Petersburg. Arrangements were under the direction of the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg. (10/17)
