Judith Kay Moomaugh (Graham)
Judy was born Nov. 18, 1953 to Robert and Angeline Graham. She attended Tacoma schools and graduated from University of Puget Sound. She taught school at Black Lake Elementary School near Olympia and at the same time attended night school at Pacific Lutheran University where she received her Master?s Degree in Literary Science. She accepted the position of librarian at Rogers High School in Puyallup. During several summer breaks, she attended University of Hawaii, receiving her Masters Degree in Library Science. Eventually the family moved to California in her position as Coordinator of School Library Services for San Mateo County, she worked diligently to bring the services to the desired standards. Shortly before her death Nov. 30, 2009 in Santa Clara, she was advised a new library would be named in her honor this spring. Her name will also remain in the memories of those who loved her. Judy is survived by her husband Edward Moomaugh, son Matthew, stepson Jeff, mother Angeline Graham, sister Connie Nuber (Fred), brothers Kenneth and Douglas (Judy). Several nephews and cherished nieces. Her father pre-deceased her.
