AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mary 'Hallie' Adkins, 77, beloved wife of the late Phillip Lee Adkins, entered into rest on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. Survivors include her sons, Dennis Adkins, Ricky Adkins and Sonny Adkins all of North Augusta and Eugene Adkins of Ormond Beach, FL; daughters, Patti Peacon of North Augusta and Penny Jarnagin of Augusta; brothers, Carlos Moomaw and Lloyd Moomaw both of Ohio; sister, Dale Tuebert of Arizona; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Adkins was the daughter of the late Clacy and Irene Trail Moomaw and a native of West Virginia. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ricky Adkins, Mickey Seay, Eugene Adkins, Dennis Adkins, Mike Hall, Sonny Adkins and Steve Jarnagin Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday, October 20, 2007, from 1:00 until the hour of the service.
