Hope J. Crane, age 91, of Erie, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015, at her residence.
She was born April 14, 1923 in Lansing, Michigan, a daughter of the late James and Nioma Mumma Butta.
She graduated from Strong Vincent High School and attended Erie Business College. She had worked at Tucker Dental as a bookkeeper for many years. Hope was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Crane, in 1984.
Hope is survived by her daughter, Judy E. Randolph of Erie; two sisters: Dolores Hill of Erie, and Camille Fetters and her husband, Reid, of Ohio; nephew, James Hill of Florida; nieces: Susan Paterniti and Kathy Longenecker, both of Erie; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St. and Powell Ave., on Monday from 2-6 p.m. and are invited to a funeral service there on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Reverend Robert Lewis officiating. Memorials may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association, 1128 State St. #301, Erie, PA 16501. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
