Michael Glenn 'Mike' Mumaw

FRANKLIN, N.C. -- Michael Glenn "Mike" Mumaw, 60, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at the V.A. Medical Center, Asheville.
Mr. Mumaw was born on July 1, 1944, in Mansfield, Ohio.
He had lived in Kissimmee, Fla., and Ft. Myers, Florida, and had lived the last 15 years in Franklin, N.C.
A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he had worked at Mansfield Tire and Rubber then changed the remainder of his career to auto mechanics.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing, camping and playing music.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil P. Mumaw; two sisters, Sidney Pierce and Elizabeth McGinty; and stepmother, Hermie Mumaw.
Surviving are his mother, Marjorie Jean Wagner of Mansfield; sisters, Jennifer Miner of Franklin, Clair Johnson of Mansfield, Peggy Sheidler of Suttons Bay, Michigan, Lois Sensibaugh of Lucas, Sherry Holbrook of Chico, California, Carolyn Naumann of Mansfield, Gayle Bosco of Columbus, Ohio, Roberta Harvey of Mansfield, Lisa Baginski of Cleveland, Ohio; and brothers, Joel Wagner of Sumner, Washington, and Larry Mumaw of Queens Creek, Arizona; stepmother, Vivian Nemeth of Mansfield; stepsister, Jeanette Foncannon of Kissimmee, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.
No service or memorial is planned as Mr. Mumaw had requested.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
