Paul Allen Ryan, 64, of Woodstock, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Greenfield Senior Living in Woodstock.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Keller Cemetery in Toms Brook. Pastor Brian Duncan will officiate.
Mr. Ryan was born March 7, 1949 in Shenandoah County, son of the late Gaither Leroy Ryan and Anna Viola Grove Ryan.
He was formerly employed with Shockey's for 30 years as a carpenter and attended First Church of Columbia Furnace. He enjoyed wood crafting, hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gayland "Bud" Ryan and Thomas Ryan.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Mumaw Ryan whom he married on December 16, 1978; two daughters, Crystal Ryan White and husband Daniel of Conicville and Kimberly Ryan Gochenour and husband Shaun of Woodstock; three sisters, Jane Reynolds of Front Royal and Phyllis Ritenour and Peggy Coffman both of Strasburg and three grandchildren, Olivia White, Lukas Gochenour and Kaylie White.
Pallbearers will be Vaughn Orndorff, Daryl Mumaw, Joe Coffman, Gary Brown, Jamie Ryan and Terry Gochenour.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Reynolds and Delmas "Moe" Ritenour.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Dellinger Funeral Home in Woodstock.
