Arlene Mummaw, Armstrong retiree
Arlene K. Mummaw, 55, of 1350 Clearview Ave., at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of Gordon S. Mummaw. They observed their 31st wedding anniversary May 3. Mrs. Mummaw was an office worker for 20 years at Armstrong World Industries. She retired in 1990. She was a member of the Lancaster Church of the Brethren, where she formerly taught Sunday school. A 1962 graduate of Hempfield High School, she enjoyed fishing and gardening. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of Ira L. Kepner Sr. Lancaster, and the late Emma Brolich Kepner. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Rod G., husband of Michele Halcomb Mummaw, Indianapolis, Ind., and Bradley K. of Washington, D.C. Also surviving are a grand-daughter, two brothers, Ira L. Jr., husband if Lynn Kepner, New Providence, and Fred, husband of Rose Kepner, Lancaster, and a sister, Mary Ann, wife of Kenneth Kramer, Columbia.
