Carol Jean Brown
Brown, Carol Jean Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Brown passed away Thursday afternoon, October 19, 2006 at her residence, age 80 years. The daughter of the late Ray & Luella (Wilson) Streeter, she was born Janu-ary 31, 1926 in Sag-inaw. Carol was a mem-ber of the First United Methodist Church of Bay City and also of the First United Methodist Church of East Tawas. She organized, created and shared her love of hand bells with others and enjoyed tatting, collecting dolls and doll hospital, crafts and playing the piano. Carol is survived by her husband, Maxwell W. Brown, Jr.; children: Teresa (George) Smith, Lori (Jerome) Wisz, Deborah Gillette, Rebekah (Michael) Willings, Wendy (Jonathan) Grabe, Linda (John) Bateson, Bruce (Laura) Brown and James Brown; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon (Ross) Crawford; several nieces & nephews; and all her friends at the Paradise RV Park in Sun City, Arizona. Besides her parents, Carol was also predeceased by her first husband, Harold MuMaugh; and a sister, Muriel Robinson. A Memorial Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 23, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Anthony N. Cutting. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
