Arvella M. Mumaw
Arvella Marie Mumaw, 94, of Martinsburg, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2007, at Heartland of Martinsburg.
Born March 2, 1913, in Berkeley County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph D. Clark and Theresa Slonaker Clark.
She was a member of the House of the Lord.
She is survived by four children, Kenneth Mumaw, Geraldine Miller, Phyllis LeHew and William "Bill" Mumaw, all of Martinsburg; six grandchildren, Rodney LeHew, Steve Miller, Troy LeHew, Deedee Semler, Candy McDonald and Kristen Mumaw; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and Allen Clark, both of Brunswick, Md.; and half-sisters, Geneva Patton and Martha Keys, both of Leesburg, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Mumaw, who died in 1968; brothers, Alex, Douglas and Warren Clark; sister, Maude Frizell; half-brothers, Joseph and Wayne Clark; and half-sister, Glenda Cooper.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007, at the Brown Funeral Home with Pastor David Caplinger officiating. Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
