M. G. Weaver claimed in "Weaverland" that her father was Jacob Kendig and her grandfather was Martin Kendig. I believe that this is in error and her grandfather was Hans Heinrich Kundig as outlined by Jane Evans Best in her article in the Jan 1992 article in the Pennsylvania Mennonite Heritage magazine.
