MUNCIE - Fred Eugene Mumaw, 76, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Renaissance Healthcare in Muncie after an extended illness. He was born in Muncie on April 3, 1930 the son of, Fred and Pearl (Gessner) Mumaw and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1948. Eugene had worked for in quality control for Ball Corporation for 47 years, was an artist, and had done the posters for the Muncie Civic Theatre for about 25 years. Mr Mumaw was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, and there will be no services or calling as per Mr. Mumaw's request. The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
