Stephen Ryan Mummaw
Stephen Ryan Mummaw, 22, of Marietta, died Monday as a result of a motor vehicle accident in West Hempfield Twp. He was born in East Stroudsburg, PA, son of Stephen R. and Sandra Jean Evans Mummaw of Lancaster.
He was a computer specialist for Lake Roeder Hillard and Associates, for more than two years. He was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 2001 where he was a member of the 2001 Volleyball Team, which won the State Championship. He attended Ironville United Methodist Church. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed martial arts, soccer, karaoke, playing pool and hanging out with his friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents, one son: Maceon Nathanial Mummaw; one daughter: Trinity Ann Mummaw, both at home and their mother: Lindsey A. Mahosky; paternal grandmother: Nancy Mummaw, Landisville; maternal grandparents: Charles and Agnes Evans, Reading; two uncles: Michael Evans and David, married to Debbie Evans; four aunts: Ann, married to William Woomer, Debra, married to John Wizeman, Catherine, married to Robert Lantz, Michelle, married to Eddie Morales; many cousins and great cousins. He was preceded in death by a paternal great-grandmother, Marie Mummaw.
Funeral service will be held at Ironville United Methodist Church, 4020 Holly Drive, Columbia, PA, on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles A. Deutsch, officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Please omit flowers.
