Gerald A. Mumma, 69, Burgaw, N.C., died Wednesday, June 9, 2010, at Pender Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 27, 1941, in Reading, PA, son of the late Effinger and Agnes Buniski Mumma.
He was also predeceased by his adoptive parents, Anna and Joseph Buniski, and a sister, Anna Lapinski.
Mr. Mumma was retired from AT&T, and an avid fisherman throughout his life. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Louise Eisen-hauer of the home; two broth-ers, Robert Mumma and wife, Cheryl, of Reading, PA; and Richard Mumma of Los Angeles, CA; a sister, Janet Imes and husband, Richard of Fleetwood, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, June 14, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Castle Hayne. Reverend Father Ryszard Kolodziej will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday 5 to 6:00 p.m. at Harrell's Funeral Home, 212 S. Dickerson St., Burgaw, N.C., 28425.

BURGAW, NORTH CAROLINA -- Gerald A. Mumma, age 69 of Burgaw, died Wednesday June 9, 2010 at Pender Memorial Hospital.
