Douglas T. Sellers Jan. 17, 1925 - Oct. 17, 2014 MISHAWAKA - Douglas T. Sellers, 91, of Bowdon, GA, formerly from Mishawaka, IN passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Memory Lane Assisted Living in Bowdon, GA. Doug was born on January 17, 1925 in Mishawaka, IN to the late Elijah and Gertrude (Mumaw) Sellers. On November 19, 1992 he married Frances Morgan. Frances passed away on October 6, 1997. Doug is survived by his 2 daughters, Karen Sue Bice of Atlanta, GA and Christy Kay (Peter) Kleitz of South Bend, IN; and nephew, David (Shannon) Lee of Mishawaka, IN. Doug was a grandfather to 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. A son, Douglas C. Sellers precedes Doug in death, along with one sister and a brother. Doug served his country in the United States Navy during WWII, receiving an honorable discharge in April of 1946. Doug retired as a Semi Truck Driver from Yellow Freight Trucking Company. He also worked at Christian Furniture. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will take place at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger, IN. Bubb Funeral Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements. - See more at:
