Her death was reported by her son, Clyde Tower. He reported that Mary Ann Tower's father was Henry Muma, born in Virginia and her mother was Nancy O'Brian whose birth location he did not know. She was widowed in 1915

This strongly suggests that her father, Henry Muma was born in VA, but that could be around the west end of Pennsylvania where PA joins West Virginia, but then it was Virginia. They might have been associated with Fort Pitt. Speculation
