Arlene's obituary does not mention her marriage to Leroy Mumma, but it is recorded in the Florida Marriage records. It must have been a short marriage and she returned to her previous married name.
Arlene Mary Lozaski - April 23,1918 to October 5, 2013. Born to Helen Schwartz and Patrick Hagerty in Providence, Rhode Island, Arlene was raised during the Great Depression and was blessed to have her aunt and uncle, Esther and George Hagerty, as important people in her life. She moved to Connecticut and married Joseph Lozaski where they raised their daughter Patricia. They eventually relocated to Florida where Joseph predeceased her in 1967. She spent many happy years living at Cliff Lakes Villas until she moved to California to be with her daughter. She has gone to be with the loved ones who left before her and to wait and welcome those she left behind. She is survived and terribly missed by her daughter Patricia Lyon, her grandsons Jeff Lyon (Eve) and Craig Lyon (Lorie), her great-grandson Grahm, and numerous other family and friends in Florida, Connecticut, and California, remembered always as a person of character, courage, and humor who always thought first of others. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Fred Hunter's Downtown Ft. Lauderdale 718 S. Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316 and a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 12:00 noon at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 2000 Marietta Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33316, with burial following at Lauderdale Memorial Park.
