Orbisonia [Huntingdon Co, PA] -
Naomi M. Carbaugh, 91, a resident of Woodland Retirement Community, Orbisonia, Pa., and formerly of Burnt Cabins, died at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Woodland. Born March 29, 1921, in Dublin Township, Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth (Mumma) Naugle. She was married to Don Carbaugh, who preceded in death. She is survived by a son, Gary Wireman, McConnellsburg; three grandsons: Chip Wireman, McConnellsburg, and Rick Goshorn and Andy Goshorn, both of Blairs Mills; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Goshorn; a sister, Beulah Truax, and a brother, Ben Naugle. She was a member of Burnt Cabins United Methodist Church. She retired as a manager at the Howard Johnson restaurant on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. In earlier years she worked at Fairchild Industries, Hagerstown, Md. There will be no funeral services.
