Robert L. Garrett, 84, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Hummelstown passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born September 21, 1929 in Hershey, he was the son of the late Robert and Grace (Raffensparger) Garrett.
He was the widower of Mildred M. (Mumma) Garrett who died December 19, 2005.
A self-employed machinist, he was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Surviving are his daughters Kathleen R., wife of Ross R. Reeves of Mechanicsburg and Karen L., wife of Michael J. Quino Sr. of Annville; grandchildren Michael J. Jr., husband of Michelle R. Quino, Robert D. Rine, Jr., Garrett A. Rine and Jesse S. Ross; great grandchildren Hannah F. Quino and Noah M. Quino; and close family friend Cameron T. Doran.
A funeral service will be held 11:30 AM Monday, November 25, 2013 at Buse Funeral Home, 2 East Main Street, Hummelstown preceded by a visitation from 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Hummelstown Cemetery.
