Frederick L. Shank PALMYRA Frederick L. "Fred" Shank, 75, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. Born July 6, 1939, in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Frederick A. and Anna (Bachman) Shank. He retired with 37 years of service from Hershey Foods and attended Fontana United Christian Church. A graduate of Cornwall High School, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, and watching sports and NASCAR. Surviving are his wife, Loretta P. (Mumma) Shank; daughter, Kathy, wife of David Frye of Palmyra; son, Barry Shank of Palmyra; stepson, Michael, husband of Kathy Jennings of Grantville; stepdaughter, Michele Jennings of Palmyra; brother, Kenneth, husband of Patricia Shank of Lebanon; grandsons, Christopher Frye of Palmyra and Bradley, husband of Susan Frye, and her three children, all of Palmyra; step grandson, Travis Kramer of Palmyra; one niece; and one nephew. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 26, 2015, at Buse Funeral Home, 145 N. Grant St., Palmyra, preceded by a viewing from 10 a.m. Interment in Cornwall Cemetery.
