Larry passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 33 years, stepson, Thomas Heller, (Cecilia) of Antioch, stepson Gregory Heller of Redding, four grandchildren, Alicia, Alexis, Trentyn, Jaelyn and great-grandson, Aiden. Also survived by his dog Molly. Larry graduated from Oakland Tech in 1958. He served in the Navy for 10 years, including 5 tours in Vietnam and retired from AT&T after 30 years. He enjoyed the Seattle Seahawks, computers and electronics, bowling, bingo, gardening and spending time with family. We will miss his sense of humor (chicken is foul!) and love that filled our lives.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall in Lafayette, at 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd. Donations can be made in Larry's memory to the charity of your choice
