Notes:
Eleanor L. Mumma, 85, of Denver, PA, formerly of Ephrata, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at Denver Nursing Center where she resided. She was the wife of the late Lester W. Mumma, who passed away in 1986, and daughter of the late Walter and Mamie (Kershner) Renninger.
Eleanor was a member of Grace E. C. Church in Ephrata where she was a member of the Adult Bible Study Class and Women's Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Ephrata Golden Years Club.
For 37 years, Eleanor worked for the former Eby Shoe Company of Ephrata and 10 years for the former Ephrata Shoe Company. She was last employed at the Grace E. C. after school program.
Eleanor is survived by a son, James L. Mumma of Fort Ann, NY, one granddaughter, Michelle L. Mumma, of Lititz, PA, two sisters, Fae Reber of Akron, PA and Viola White, of Lititz, PA, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by three sisters: Florence Shupp, Elva Springer, and Laura Leed; and seven brothers: Harry, Gordon, Arthur, Clair, James, Ralph, and Roy Renninger.
Funeral services will be held at Grace E. C. Church, 131 Terrace Ave., Ephrata, PA 17522 on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Philip Walck officiating. Friends will be received before the service from 10-11 a.m. Place of interment will be Cedar Hill Cemetery, Ephrata, PA.
