Audrey Mumaw Hair

Audrey Mumaw Hair, 79, of Beaufort, SC, widow of Hobart R. Hair, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 11:00am in Carl Anderson Memorial Chapel with interment in Beaufort National Cemetery. She was born on Palmer, PA on September 21, 1937. She is the daughter of the late John Mumaw and Mildred Swords Mumaw. Mrs. Hair was a member of The Baptist Church of Beaufort and worked as a secretary for the Department of Defense. Surviving are three daughters, Amy Melville, Donna Sullivan and Barbara Hair; two brothers, John "Bob" Mumaw and Jerry Mumaw; one sister, Rosemary Parker; seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to South Carolina Alzheimer's Association (LowCountry Chapter) 2090 Executive Hall Road, Suite 130 Charleston, SC, 29407. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
