Fern R. Gingrich 85, of Harrisburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, March 25, 2016 at Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Mrs. Gingrich was born in W. Hanover Twp., and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Mabel (Mumma) Runkle. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Pa. where she was a secretary in the Bureau of Epidemiology. She was a member of CrossPoint United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Gingrich is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert Gingrich, Sr.; her daughter, Kerry (Paul Terpilowski) Gingrich of Morton Grove, Ill.; her son, Robert (Pam) Gingrich, Jr. of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Melissa and Catie; her sister, Judy Runkle of Pottsville, Pa.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 11 A.M., at CrossPoint United Methodist Church, 430 Colonial Road, Harrisburg. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church, prior to the service.
