Joseph R. Keller Sr., 84, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 with loving family at his side. He was the son of the late Joseph Mumma Keller and Catherine Gorse Keller. Joseph was a loving husband to the late Marian Hagenberger Keller and wanted to be with her again. Joseph served in the US Army as a Specialist 3rd class during the Korean War.
He was retired from Amp Inc. where he worked as an Advanced Development Engineer for over 35 years and was called their "resident genius". He has many patents to his name.
Surviving are his 4 sons, Joseph R. Keller Jr. and his wife Suzanne (Beistline) of Harrisburg, Mark T. Keller and his wife Suzanne of State College, Eric D. Keller of Harrisburg, Greg S. Keller and his wife Sara of Arizona; grandchildren Joseph J. Keller, Kaitlin M. Keller, Carson Keller, John Keller, Kristen Keller, Kurt A. Keller, and Jack Keller.
The family will be having a private ceremony to celebrate the lives of their mom, Marian, and their father, Joseph.
