ALEXANDRIA, IN - Dawn E. Mumaw, 63, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020, in Community Hospital-Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on November 21, 1958 in Anderson to James and Barbara (Cougill) Mumaw and has resided in Alexandria for most of her lifetime. Dawn was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School-Class of 1977. In her early years, she worked with her father in the NAPA Auto Parts Store Alexandria. Dawn was a CNA and had worked at Miller?s Merry Manor in Tipton. Most recently, she had worked at the Alexandria Care Center. Dawn was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church and was active in many programs there. She was an avid bowler. She enjoyed time spent at the lake, long drives to nowhere in particular and especially the time spent with classmates and friends.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law-Marilyn Lewis
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to inter Dawn?s cremains in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:30 am. Pastor Jason Sanders will officiate. Following the cemetery service, the public is invited to a Celebration of Life reception at the Epworth United Methodist Church, 3957 East 1250 North, Alexandria, IN 46001.
