NOTICE: Through DNA testing of men with the Mummy\Mummey\Mumy surname, I have been able to determine that Samuel was originally born with the MUMMY surname and thus he and his descendants are not "genetically" related to the MUMMA family - Doug Mumma doug@mumma.org -researcher of this family.
ELIZABETHVILLE- Donald Robert Troutman, age 90, of Broad Street, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 5, 1931 in Loyalton, the son of [the late] Harry N. and Mary A.(Mumma) Troutman. Donald was the widower of Kathryn (Stoneroad) Troutman. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He was retired from construction and had worked side by side with his brother "Wally" in carpentry and flooring for many years. Donald was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church, Millersburg and the Elizabethville Fire Co. He enjoyed baseball, square dancing, playing bingo, camping and was a former member of the Lykens Valley Roamers. He and his late wife also enjoyed spending winters in Florida. He is survived by his daughter, Kathy Jean Buffington; Grandsons, Anthony Troutman and Dakota Buffington; Granddaughter, Danita Buffington; Two great grandson's Kadence Franklin and Kingsley Buffington; 2 brothers, Walter "Wally" Troutman and James Troutman and a sister, Anna Stoneroad. There will be a time of visitation held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 10-11 AM at his church. A memorial service will start at 11:00 AM with Rev. Rick Anderson officiating. Burial will military honors will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery following the services. The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Hebron UM Church, 422 Market Street, Millersburg, PA 17 Arrangements are being cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral.
