Information about Eugene Moomaw was found on his death certificate His brother Haywood Moomaw died a month earlier and is also buried in this cemetery. His cause of death was listed as "influenza" which killed many people in 1918.
I am very doubtful as to whether his surname was spelled as "Moomaw". His mother was most likely illiterate and the undertaker likely just wrote the name phonetically aa it was told to him by the boy's mother. The mother and father , Sarah and Charles Moomaw, were both listed as being born in South Carolina which is an area in which the Moomaw/Mumma families are not found. His mother and father can not be found in any other records in Virginia or South Carolina.
