"Thomas H. Mumma, 52, of 429 Summit Ave., Hagerstown, died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at his home. Born Sept. 20, 1947, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Helen M. Fisher Mumma of Hagerstown, and the late Charles E. Mumma. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a member of Morris Frock Post 42, American Legion, Hagerstown Fire Police, and B.P.O. Eagles, Aerie 694. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie L. Ankerbrand Mumma; a step-son, Glenn W. Hines Jr. of Hagerstown; a brother, Richard W. Mumma of Hagerstown; two step-grandchildren; three nephews; and a niece. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward A. Mumma. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. J. Norman Mayer will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday 30 minutes prior to the service."
