ROYER, MAUDE IRENE, age 77, of 4000 N. Broadway Rd., Louisville, was dead on arrival at Timken Mercy Hospital Sunday, following an extended illness. She was born in Stark County on Feb. 16, 1901. She was a teacher in Stark County for 22 years. Member of Center Church of the Brethren. Survived by husband, Lester; one daughter, Mrs. William (June) Scott of Louisville; four sons, James Joseph and John, all of Louisville, Don of N. Canton; a twin sister, Marie Mowry of Florida; one brother, Dr. Ira W. Moomaw of Florida; 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Stier Israel Funeral Home of Louisville with Rev. Bruce Resonberger officiating. Friends may call 7-p p.m. Tuesday and one hour before services on Wednesday. Interment will be in the Center Church of the Brethren Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to World Hunger in care of Center Church of the Brethren. A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Sunday (1-7) in the Center Church of the Brethren.
