Ellen Elizabeth Mumma Murr, 92, formerly of Brownstown, died of natural causes Wednesday evening at Lancaster General Hospital.
Mrs. Murr had lived in Country Meadows of Lancaster for five months. She was the wife of Howard BUSHONG Murr, who died in 1988.
A homemaker, she was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Brownstown, where she was active in the Sunday school and the Ladies' Missionary Society. She also was a member of the West Earl Fire Company Auxiliary.
Born in Brownstown, where she lived almost all of her life, she was a daughter of the late Jerre and Minerva Brown Mumma. She is survived by a son, J. Richard of Lititz; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
