Philip Auth, the young jeweler of this city, can no longer be classed among the bachelor band, having been united in marriage last Wednesday to Miss Amelia Mumma of Oden (sic), Davis (sic) county, Indiana. The marriage was performed at the home of the bride's parents, and, although quiet, was a beautiful ceremony. Not many of Philip's friends hereabouts knew of his intentions, and most of them were greatly surprised when he returned the first of the week with his fair young bride. The happy young couple are already arranging to go to housekeeping on Tenth street and will soon be at home to their friends. The bride was a very popular young lady at her home, while the groom is too well known here to need further introduction.
