Enjoyed singing, played many instruments

Janet L. Trimbach, 92, died Thursday at the inpatient hospice unit at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
Mrs. Trimbach was born March 27, 1918, in Dayton, Ohio, to Jerome and Wilhemina Mumma. The Trimbach family moved to Morgan County in 1965.
As a child, she made many short films, making commercial clips for food and soap for Monarch films. She graduated from Butler High School in Dayton. In 1938, she married William John ?Bill? Trimbach. The couple worked together in all of their businesses which included a family meat packing business, a meat market, a restaurant and a farm.
She enjoyed singing and could play just about any musical instrument. Mrs. Trimbach enjoyed painting, working with and teaching ceramics classes at Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center. She won many ribbons for her artwork displayed at county fairs and art exhibits. She also enjoyed collecting antiques and caring for orphaned or crippled animals, including lambs, pigs and ducks.
After moving to Colorado, she worked as bookkeeper for the late Ted Rediess in his grocery store and at the Brush Livestock Sale Barn.
Survivors include her husband, Bill of Brush; six grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, William Edward Trimbach and Daniel Trimbach; one brother, Jerome; one sister, Marianna; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and her parents.
A private family memorial service will be held.
