WILLIAMSPORT --- Mrs. Sallye Adeline Pierce, 73, of Rt. 1 Falling Waters Road, died Sunday at the Washington County Hospital.
Born in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of William Stanley Mumma Sr. and Florence Ensminger Mumma.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Tagenkemter (sic) of Media, Pa.; eight sisters, Mrs. Lena Moats of Belen, N. M., Mrs. F. Josephine Smith of Fairplay, Mrs. Catherine Delosier and Mrs. G. Rosalie Childress, both of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Bernice L. Docktor, Mrs. D. Ivy Martin, Mrs. Myrtle D. Tracey and Mrs. Ardeth L. Mullendore, all of Hagerstown; three brothers, W. Stanley Mumma Jr. of Williamsport, James M. Mumma of Warren R.I. and Hershey E. Mumma of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Osborne Funeral Home in Williamsport. The Rev. William W. Beale will officiate.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9.
Contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in Hagerstown.
