OBITUARY :
MRS. FLORENCE ENSMINGER MUMMA, 88, died suddenly Monday evening at the home of her daughter at 300 S. Mont Valla Ave.
She was the widow of William Stanley Mumma, Sr.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Hagerstown and a charter member of the Lappans Homemakers Club.
She is survived by nine daughters, Mrs. Lena Moats, Mrs. Sallie Pierce, Mrs. Bernice Doekter, Mrs. Ivy Martin, Mrs. Myrtle Tracy and Mrs. Arthur Mullendore, all of Hagerstown, Mrs. Josephine Smith of Tilghmanton, Mrs. Catherine Delosier of Orlando, Fla. and Mrs. Rosalee Childress of Maitland, Fla.; three sons, William S. Mumma, Jr. of Rt. 1, Williamsport, James M. Mumma of Rt. 1 Warren, and Hershey E. Mumma of Arlington, Va.; one sister, Mrs. Sue Hershey of Hanover, Pa., and 26 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Leaf Funeral Home in Williamsport with the Rev. Arthur W. Gavin officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
Memorial donations may be made to the Missionary Society of Grace United Methodist Church.
