NETTIE HARDEN DIES SUDDENLY - Mrs. Ross Harden Dies Suddenly at Home Monday Afternoon
Mrs. Nettie Harden, 66, wife of Ross Harden, of Union township, died suddenly Monday afternoon about 3 o'clock while sitting in a chair at her farm home, seven miles northeast of Decatur .
Death came unexpectedly, as she had been in ill health. Death was attributed to coronary occlusion.
The deceased was born in Root township October 25, 1872, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Harkless. She was a life long resident of Adams county and a member of the Pleasant Grove U. B. church, the ladies' aid society of the church and the Union township home economics club.
Surviving, besides the husband, are a son, Clyde of Union township, three grandchildren, Paul, Warren and Fred Harden, a sister, Mrs. E. J. Ahr of Decatur and a brother Clifford Harkless of Root township.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the residence and 2 o'clock at the Pleasant Grove U. B. church. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Rev. G. A. Eddy of Convoy, Ohio will officiate.
The body will be returned this evening from the S. E. Black funeral home, and may be viewed there after 7 p.m.
