Deceased Name: Mrs. Audrey Hagelthorn
77, of Charlotte died Monday, March 16, 1998, in her home after a long illness.
Visitation is 7-8 p.m. Friday at Carolina Funeral and Cremation Center, 5505 Monroe Rd. A service to celebrate her life will follow thereafter at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Born in London, England on Sept. 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Samuel & May Blackham Downs Moomaw. Mrs. Hagelthorn has been a Charlotte resident since 1985, and was employed as a nursing assistant in the Home Health Care Industry.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Hagelthorn of the home; two daughters, Lisa and Lynn Hagelthorn, both of Charlotte; one brother, Hugh Moomaw of Virginia Beach, VA; and two grandsons, Stephen and Thomas Lamb.
