For some reason, the marriage of John Mumma and Eliza is recorded as occurring on 22 Nov 1886 when their son was 7 years old and John the father, was long dead. There appears to be a transcription error. Possibly the year was incorrectly transcribed. This families legend is that the son was orphaned by the age of 4 years, suggesting the marriage more likely took place 22 Nov. 1876.
