Eva G. Dorman, 92, of West Hanover Township died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at home.
Born February 12, 1920 in Piketown, she was a daughter of the late Harvey C. and Lillie (Nye) Mumma and also preceded in death by sisters Ethel Weaver, Ann Fox Shuey, Alice Kuntz, and Evelyn Rodemaker and brothers Earl, Edward, Paul, and Clyde Mumma.
She was the widow of Leon W. Dorman whom she helped operate Dorman Orchards, Halifax. A member of Mt. Laurel Church of God and the Mt. Laurel Community Association, she enjoyed yard sales, family time, cooking, and sharing those items she cooked.
Surviving are step children Bonnie Bechtel of Halifax, Margaret Schwalm of Valley View, John Dorman of Halifax, Patricia Young of Harrisburg, and Charles Dorman of Halifax; 8 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 19, 2012 at her church, 1295 Piketown Road, Harrisburg preceded by a viewing from 9:30AM. Interment in the adjoining Mt. Laurel Cemetery.
