Notes:
Mrs. Benj. F. Moomaw - Mrs. Della Moomaw, 85, 23 West Liberty street,
Oakland, died last evening, March 3, in Garrett County Memorial hospital
where she had been a patient for four days. Born in Deer Park October
7, 1890, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Christena
Lower Lee, and was the widow of Benjamin Franklin Moomaw, who died in
1918. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Wilma Canty, Oakland, with whom
she made her home; and Mrs. Louise Stanton, Deep Creek Lake; two
brothers, Robert H. Lee, Gortner; Clarence A. Lee, Solomons, Md.; four
grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was a member of the United
Brethren church, the Women's Missionary association and Ladies Bible
class of the church. The body was taken to the John O. Durst funeral
home, Second street, Oakland. Funeral services will be conducted on
Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the funeral home with Rev. Oscar W.
Hull officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley cemetery.
