OAKLAND---Lawrence W. Moomaw, 49, an invalid for the past 17 years, died last night at Garrett County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for 10 days.
A native of Garrett County, he was a son of Della Lee Moomaw, of Mt. Lake Park, and the late Frank Moomaw.
Formerly a coal miner, Mr. Moomaw had been a patient at Weeks Nursing Home, here, for the last three years.
Other than his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Wilma Canty, and Mrs. Louise Currie, both of here, and a brother, Gilbert Moomaw, Dahlgren, Va.
The body is at the Leighton Funeral Home where services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. Bryan Blair, pastor of Loch Lynn EUB Church. Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
