Leah Winn, 85
Leah "Leoti" Winn, 85, a registered nurse who had worked at Lancaster General Hospital, died late Monday evening at Brethren Village, Neffsville, after a long illness. She had resided in Margate City, N.J., before moving to Brethren Village.
She was the wife of the late Dr. Samuel L. Winn.
Mrs. Winn attended Linden Hall School for Girls in Lititz and Millersville Normal School, now Millersville University. She graduated from Lancaster General Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at the hospital before moving to Margate City.
She was a past president of the Atlantic City, N.J., Hospital Women's Auxiliary.
She was a member of Margate Community Church, Margate City, and attended Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rothsville.
Born in Rothsville, she was the daughter of the late Ementize S. and Mamie Hallacher Mumma.
Surviving are two sons, Larry, Miami Lakes, Fla., and Bob, Troy, Mich., and five grandchildren.
