ELIZABETH C. MUMAW
Elizabeth C. Mumaw, 90, of 70 W. Juniper St., Hazleton, died Sunday afternoon at the Mountain City Convalescent Center where she had been a guest for one month.
She was born in Junedale, daughter of the late John and Anna (Jacobs) Wersinger.
She was a member of St. John's Primitive Methodist Church, Hazleton, and the Hazleton Senior Citizens.
She was a retired employee of the City of Hazleton.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Samuel Mumaw; son, John, and brothers and sisters, John and Michael Heck, Mrs. Norbert Corrigan, Mrs. Hannah Gallagher, Joseph, James and Robert Wersinger and Mrs. Agnes Dobrinsky.
Surviving are a sister, Rose Leist, Levittown; a number of grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the Rosenstock Funeral Home, 229 W. Broad St., Hazleton, with the Rev. Bernard Murphy, pastor of St. John's Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Vine Street Cemetery, Hazleton.
