Leonard Momma war Kupfermeister.
Das zinkhaltige Erz Galmei (Zn C O3 = kohlensaures Zink) welches f?r die Messingherstellung notwendig war, war nat?rlich ein Streitobjekt der Kupfermeister. Am 16 Mai 1616 wurden Jeremias Hoesch, Leonhard Momma, Matheis Peltzer d. J. durch die
Synode zu Linnich vom hl. Abendmahl suspendiert, weil sie sich nicht vers?hnen wollten.
Es ist aber nicht klar, wie er mit Wilhelm Momma, geb. 1543, verwandt ist. M?glicherweise stammt er sogar aus der Ehe Momma- v. Kettenis. Ein Indiez hierf?r w?re, da? er seine zwei ersten Kinder nach seinen vermeintlichen Eltern benennt.

But it is not clear how it is related to Wilhelm Momma, born in 1543. Maybe he even comes out of the marriage Momma v. Kettenis. A Indiez of this would be that he names his first two children after his supposed parents.
