Bluffton, Ohio: Merlin M. Mumma, age 66 died at 9:35 a.m. Thursday [28 sept 1979] at Lima Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born on January 31, 1913 in Bluffton, the son of Gail B. and Mabel Irene Fancher Mumma. On February 23, 1939 he married the former Cecil Lavon Cook, who survives. Mr. Mumma was a retired maintenance foreman for Ohio Power. He was a member of the Bluffton Church of Christ. Survivors also include two sons, Larry G. Mumma of Bluffton, James L. Mumma of Van Wert and a daughter, Mrs. Karen (Guy) Grismore of Pandora.
