Bluffton
HELEN L. STEINER, 91, died at 10:35p.m. Feb. 28, 2007, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora.
She was born Sept. 11, 1915, in Bluffton to Gail Blanchard and Mabel Fancher Mumma, who preceded her in death. She married Cleon A. Steiner, who died Feb. 2, 2001.
Mrs. Steiner retired from Triplett Corp., Bluffton. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton. She was a Bluffton High School graduate. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, reading and needle-work.
Survivors include a son, David "Pete" (Nancy) Steiner, of Bluffton; a daughter, Sharon (Charles) Bishop, of Findlay; a sister, Bettye (Ron) Ebling, of Lima; four grandchildren, Randy Steiner, Jennifer (Mike) Burner, Amy Bishop, Steve Bishop; and two great-grandchildren, Mackaid and Olivia Burner.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Merlin Mumma; an infant sister; and a grandchild, Andrew Burner.
Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton. The Rev. Ryan Grace will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
